This reminds me of a conversation with an ex, from my undergraduate years. We were talking over the phone and he conferenced in a friend (an ex girlfriend) into the conversation to prove I was wrong about something. It was really silly, like the rainy season in southern Spain or something. I didn’t mind being wrong and didn’t mind speaking to his ex girlfriend, but I didn’t respect that he put me down in front of her. Ahh, well.

  That was not acceptable. For me it would have been weird too. I mean you don’t put down your present in front of your past. I am sorry for that.
