Unending Desire

We might have so much, almost everything,

And yet we pine for the only thing that we cannot have!

Is it just me or the human nature after all?

It’s just a human-nature that’s never satisfied with things we already have. The more we have, the more we “pine” for things to have without acknowledging & understanding much about those things, perhaps, sometimes, we gotta have what we gotta have. So it’s cool, however… it’s a sign of one’s vulnerability – the lack of patience. Even me myself find me in the same juxtaposition of life.. and may be, that’s the very reason that i along with my heart… we both still keep wandering through the meanderings of life… in a hope to get something resided in everything what we want, but the harsh truth is, we hardly get what we really want. And that’s where our expectations get broken which further make “everyone” (including me either) lost in their “Unending Desire”, telepathically. Quite a post uve come up with, Moushmi. It just got me think about life!

Thank you so much for stopping by.
It is a human nature indeed! You said it all, we keep getting disheartened when we don’t get what we want, but that’s life! We can never be satisfied, right!
I ma glad I made you think, that was the point of the post. Plus it must have given your over working mind a break to think on something else.

It is the human nature. We like to rest our hopes on something unachievable. I believe it is the only thing that makes us different. Apparently, we never remain satisfied with what we have gathered. We will be having a lot of time to appreciate the things we have gathered in our lifetime, maybe the desire for more is what pushes us forward while we dwell in the present.

The post was thought provoking 🙂

      Hie, Deepak,
Thank you so much for reviewing my post.
And I agree with you on what you said about being pushed forward. May be it is true after all that it is desire that pushes us forward.
      Thanks dear.
