Yes. They allow themselves to be hypnotized by the priestcraft who, unfortunately, are also as lost as everyone else.
Point is, everyone has a hidden vested interest in their particular religious doings, to camouflage their dark sides. Yet all these religions are merely different fingers pointing to the same moon.

To me religion isn’t believe strictly in something, but I respect who does.
You can have faith by just realizing you’re a small passing part of the universe, this gives you a good starting point to have respect in other people and what’s near you. This is my concept of faith.
