My biggest distraction for nanowrimo is this cute little bundle with an infectious laughter and a magnetic warm hug.
Apart from her, there are a few other things that nanowrimo is doing to me.
As I write, even I am surprised with the turns that my plot is taking.
I am down to 23k words already.
I am almost obsessed with one of the characters that is clearly not likeable.
I still don’t know what’s going to happen next.
I am literally dreaming about my MCs.
I am excited.
I am scared.
While these are the little things that I am stuck on, my niece here has bigger problems. Oh so bigger problems. She clearly thinks life is so difficult, her friend there is not allowed to have a personal phone because of which they can’t casually video call all the time. There won’t be rangoli for her she says. Who will tie her long braid, she wonders since she is away from her parents for a few days? Her chocolate simply vanished from her bag in the morning. In the evening her younger brother had a mud like mark on his lips. Her father won’t allow her to join social media. Her teacher thinks she can’t paint her nails. When will she now wear her new dress? She thinks if I can manage to write a book, I can manage anything, even convince her mother to let her put lipstick on just for today. But what does she know of these problems? Again what do even I know? We are just flowing with time. There are no festivities for us, nor a festive feeling. Neither do we have much to offer right now, but I have a little something that you might be interested in. It’s not the best, but I am sure it won’t be so disappointing. Both my ebooks POSIES & 03:21 AM are free for the 14th and 15th of this month. And the paperback of 03:21 AM is discounted at 40% on Notion Press. Use code: DIWALI2020
We gift you this smile along. Hope the years brings new faith, new lights, and new smiles to all of us.
