The blunt truth, ‘misfortunes come in all shapes and sizes’. Well Expressed!

To be honest, happiness comes in all shapes and sizes as well, not just misfortune.

And now after reading everyone’s comments I have decided that it is all a matter of perception.

Oh great, this again – Matter of perception. It is a beautiful way to sum up, I mean conclude the difference of opinions.

You lost me completely there. What balance? How did it traverse from perception to balance finding?

I meant to say balance of my own confusion. Since I put this post up to know what I could make of it, in the end I was left confused so I decided that I’d go with the perception thing.

That’s a rational thought right there.
But if I’m not wrong that thought wasn’t your own, was it?

I have learnt not take anything at face value – including what Murakami writes ๐Ÿ™‚ Happiness comes in different forms of course, but the way we perceive it is often one-sided, unlike pain and misfortune.

Thank Prajakta, that is actually what I was thinking. I mean of course it comes in different forms, but the way of perception matters a lot.
