They say that I have trust issues, that I do not believe when someone is telling me the truth, that I will always try and check the strength of their truth.

Well, give me one good reason, not to doubt them.

I mean, honestly, I am yet to find a person who wouldn’t lie to me, who would be with me without any kind of motive for themselves. All I have ever found is, we meet, we connect and then as soon as their job is done or something inappropriate occurs, their ship sails. So, of course I am going to have issues trusting you.

Why would I not have them?

Which brings me to another thought; as much as we might want someone else’s company, our own company can never be matched.

Living with yourself; and living for yourself is what is best at such circumstances. Sometimes it is necessary to distance yourself from people and peep into the inner you.

You know Moushmi, I could totally relate with you. May be unfortunately this is truth of life, or may be it isn’t. May be it’s all relative, and may be we will never know. But in normal social context, trust but verify isn’t bad policy afterall.

The post sounds more passionate than casual. Romantics aside, without others and their behavior that spans the whole spectrum, we would not realise what a treasure we really are.

self motivation is only part of being in a relationship. the other part is we want to be happy and to please the person we wish to be with. it takes both of the people to be in a relationship. life itself has falsehoods in it. yes, we all lie. to others and to ourselves. nothing is perfect and we should strive to be the best as it can be. experience will win in the end. just be sure you are not lying to yourself first before deciding the truths of others.

I agree. As an introvert, I always feel more comfortable with myself. Or, in other words, I never feel lonely when I’m alone.

Relationships are quite like a piece of crystal,
We dust and clean all day and the day after.
Hoping it doesn’t break, the thought that clarity will never be lost.

But humans run on emotions and instincts,
Emotions are like weather changing with no control of ours.
Yet we try and rein them in.

A broken heart may still yearn for love for togetherness,
After all for one’s own company also gets boring.
I am yet to find the way but I am hell bent on trying.

Absolutely true!!!! That’s why living alone is a bliss!! Even though it gets lonely sometimes but it’s better than all the fuss and pain and heartbreak and disappointments after a person turns out to be a fake!!
