Do you agree that writers are worth something?

Or do you stand with the others believing that writers are a confirmed, forbearing and a resigned set?

If writing is an ‘act of identity’, resistance is already embedded!! A Good Reminder!! 🙂

Writers are definitely worth something, be it storytelling where we build a new world or be it motivational talks where we try to help others, we, the writers, have our own worth, and first, it starts from realising it in our own selves.

Writers are the one who put myriad thoughts floating in oblivion, in their mind, and in other minds, cultivated and presented in a bouquet for all to think and ponder. So, to your question writers are absolutely worth of many things. Btw the historic people, the iconic fantasies and the future perfect and imperfect all are in the writer’s vision

Writers are thinkers, they create new thoughts through their words.. their thoughts inspire others to think, opening a new horizon before all, wide enough for them to breathe.. they are the conscience of a society, acting as a mirror to remind it, what and who they are, what they’re doing.. they set a goal for the world, through their imagination, inspiring it to create a dream world, beautiful enough, worth living..
So.. yes, yes,. writers are very much worth something.. rather I’d love to say that writers are the only living beings on this earth, who can think, create and inspire.. all at a time..
Moushmi, such a profound topic of yours.. inspiring me to write so much on writers now.. 😜👍🏼😁😁

I am obliged as to hear that you deem writers fit not only worth something, but you put them as thinkers, creators as well as inspirers.

Writing is freedom, vanity, madness and building castles in the mind, far off yet close to a reality imagined at times, blending surreal, fiction and truth 🙂

Interesting question. I think it’s an accepted fact that people who read books possess more empathy for others than people who don’t read. Reading slows one down, it is an active process as opposed to the passive activity of television watching. Reading enlarges one’s understanding of the world. Therefore, writers are worth a great deal.

It is no accident that the current president of the United States, who has been labeled the worst president in the history of the country, is a man who does not read.

    Good post! :”-)

As for your comment, I quite agree, that writers indeed are worth a great deal. Readers definitely hold a mind which is open and wise.

PS: I quite like how you put it “passive activity of television watching’ 😉
